This is an essential book, normalizing that everyone learns at different paces. The hero is not the strongest in the jungle and he isn't asked to save the world. I love that the hero just has to learn to write his name and that is enough. Little things are actually big.

Leo the Tiger is a late bloomer. His dad worries, while his mom is sure that with patience, in his own good time, Leo will bloom. (Spoiler alert: Mom's right.) This book helped calm my anxieties as much as it helped my late bloomer during the potty training years.

I loved this story. A must read for any parent who has a late bloomer.
