pudzzy Why have you read all of the books if you tell us not to read, if you are an animal lover? You are NOT an animal lover?
I've only read this Katz book. It was fascinating and I've seen some, not all, of the neurotic Bc behaviors in my BC mix, who was a rescue. It made me smile in some points, but other pages I simply skimmed, from boredom induced by his writing.
Katz has some behavioral problems himself, to be sure. Going off on Devon at times. I'm sure he's not the first human to do so. Let the reader decide, to judge or not. Katz does not publish any dictum stating he is an authority on dogs.
NOT RECOMMENDED TO READ THIS BOOK IF YOU ARE AN ANIMAL LOVER .. I have read every one of his book This man is neurotic ,,He thinks he can read an animals mind.. In every one of his books an animals dispatched after he writes a book about it,, Everything on his farm gets sick, becomes neurotic, and either is euthanized or taken out back and dispatched with a shot gun . All his animals become tiresome, but are milked one more time in death, until a new one is acquired and the cycle begins anew .just to find a new subject for his books,, .Dont believe me read these ..Any man who thinks his animals are telling him to kill them is neuritic.. , Some of these articles are wrote by the border collie association .Click on these

A must read for anyone who has ever had, wanted, or loved a dog. Poignant account of a man who reluctantly brings a new dog into his life. I laughed out loud and cried like a baby.
