This book is an excellent book filled with great pictures of different kinds of spiders and lots of information about each one. It even includes a page of bugs (like the daddy long leg) that are often mistaken for spiders. The reading level is upper elementary/middle school, but my 4 year old loves this book so when I read aloud, I just skim through and hit the important parts.
