Eh, it was alright, but it was way too tedious for my taste. I respect Mishima as a writer, but unfortunately, his biography didn't cut it.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS 700 PAGE BOOK! This is one of the worst books I have ever read. It takes forever to wade through and leaves you very unsatisfied in the end. There are Undoubtedly many other books on Yukio Mishima's life that are better written and more insightful. This author loved to introduce a new person on each page most of whom were irrelevant to who Mishima was. At the same time skipping over his family his loves. The book is more about those who interacted with him and less about Mishima himself. It is full of useless details that offer the reader no information. It was a huge waste of time. I kept waiting for it to get better it never did. Save yourself the time
