Mana has always lived a normal life, albeit with an overprotective mother, until the day she comes home to find the house trashed and an alien in the garage. It turns out her mother is an alien hunter who has absconded with a piece of technology that everyone--human and alien--wants to get their hands on. When her mother's partner shows up and orders Mana to come with him, it may be up to Mana to save her mother--and the world.

This is the sort of book I would only recommend as a time filler. The plot wasn't as clever as the summery made it sound, and the whole thing bordered on cliche. There were times when the characters seemed to jump from one place to the next without any transition, which was both annoying and confusing. However, this book could be rather amusing, and all the plot points managed to tie together.

A fun read about aliens and the people who hunt them. It's a light fast paced book that's not very original but sill enjoyable. I'm curious to see where Carrie Jones takes the story in the next book.

Ugh! Another example of someone who writes, but appears to have never read, only watched TV.
If blithe glibness is your interest, then this might fill the time?! [Definitely not in the YA/SF category.]
