First time reading Katie Fforde and quite enjoyable. It is light but insightful and going to check out more of her books now.

I love Katie Fflord's books. Her and Carole Matthews are my two current favourites. There have been a couple of her books where the heroine is quite weak and has no backbone and allows people and men to take advantage of her, and it kind of irritates me reading those ones. This book is one of those - at least at the beginning - but I kept reading and it gets better and she redeems herself. I still quite enjoyed this book.
