Excellent retelling of the Disney animation. It dragged a bit at some parts.

This is a none cartoon version of the Jungle book. I still like the cartoon version better which is more light hearted. I also like the music better in the cartoon version. But it is the same story in a different setting.

Great family movie with stunning visuals and graphics. Disney seems to be continuing the tradition of capturing audiences' interest. It was a thrill to watch from start to end with fantastic CGI. The actor, Neel Sethi, did a good job being Mowgli. The story was enjoyable, just like the original. The movement of those animals was smooth and natural, especially the scene where the big orangutan was chasing Mowgli in the old, scary castle ruins and monkeys were screaming loudly. It was quite a thrilling chase!!! And at the end, the orangutan was the one to lose. Baloo and Bagheera were always with Mowgli and their chemistry was amazing. The voices were also on point, actors like Bill Murray, who played Baloo, matched the character perfectly. The ending of Sher Khan reminded me of another Disney classic, the epic "The Lion King". 4 out of 5.

Wonderful movie for children and adults who love the beauties of nature and animals. Bill Murray's voice was easy to recognize in the bear friend, who has his same attitudes.

Growing up in Orlando created a love/hate Disney relationship for me; TH refused to believe I'd never watch a version of this movie. I'm happy to say I enjoyed it and would watch it again. The voice actors (as the animals) were wonderfully complex and engaging. May be too scary for the youngest of your family, but all in all an enjoyable film.

The film is excellently done, lavish in places. Unfortunately, the dialogue is lackluster. There is nothing that shines or is memorable in anything these characters have to say. Very disappointing that.

Raksha: [to Mowgli] Never forget this: You're mine. Mine, to me. No matter where you go, or what they may call you. You will always be my son.

Tons of quotes in IMDb already as this one:

Bagheera: [tackles Mowgli to restrain him from fighting Shere Khan] Stay here!
Mowgli: [trying to push Bagheera's paw away] But I want to fight like the wolves!
Bagheera: You can't fight him like a wolf! You're NOT a wolf!
Bagheera: Fight him like a man!

But not this one yet:
I realise you weren't born a wolf, but couldn't you at least act like one?
